The beginning of each year is a time when most people take time to reflect on the past and contemplate on the future. With the New Year comes renewed optimism and revived hopes. This is a time to look forward to boosting yourself image and one of the ways is resolving to dress better.
Why Dress Better?
I am made to understand that of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important. People will address you the way you are dressed. This highlights the importance of dressing better to be a forward in enhancing social relations. When you dress nicely, you also feel nice and thus your self esteem is increased inside you. By having a dressing better agenda in your list of your New Year resolutions, you are actually beginning at the right foot and the sky remains the limit. As you present yourself to friends, relatives, workmates or business clients in a better dressing, you remain a higher chance of being honored and respected. By the way, promotion at your place of work will begin to beckon because better dressed people tend to work smart. When it comes to fashion one must be able to know what they want to portray at the end of the day, the new fashion trends that are in the market, the cost of the clothes they want to buy and where to get the clothes. In purchasing any type of clothing one must question how the dress, suit looks and does it show my confidence in what am doing.
Dressing the Smart Way
Better dressing as a New Year resolution will not just be looked at from the aesthetic point of view but also to functionality of what you wear. In countries where they experience the four seasons of weather then planning on what to buy at the beginning of the year should depend on the season they are currently in. During the spring one should invest in bright colored clothing and break from the ordinary colors they are used to. One should be able to wear clothes that are bright like yellow, green, red and corals. Wearing vibrant colors brightens you and the day. One should be able invest in the basic colors like gray and black because this colors go with any type of color as they are basic.
In every closet one should have a dress, a suit or even jeans in grey or black as this go a long way and can be worn with any other color.
Quality vs Quantity
When buying any clothing one should look for the quality of the clothes but not the quantity of the clothes. A person should save up money and be able to buy a piece of clothing of high material which lasts longer than buying a lot of clothes that the quality is not good and end up going back to the shop for more clothes. The clothes that are made of good material and are of high quality last longer. In this years resolution one should be able to dress up for the attitude. One can either dress up or dress down. In the office one can be the best dressed or the one dressed the coolest. Wear something that fits your body and that shows the clothes were made for you not another person.
It’s all in the attitude
When dressing this year one should dress for themselves but not for another person. One maybe given ideas by other people on what to wear but maybe uncomfortable with what you are told, listen to the ideas and convert them to what you think maybe appropriate for you. If you are a young lady avoid baggy t-shirts and jeans because they are not fashionable at all times. For this years resolution shop for some tight jeans and dresses that show the figure of your body and not hide the beauty you possess. If one is in love with the baggy t-shirts one can wear them when in the house or when watching movies.
There is a lot we can say about dressing but adopting a New Year resolution of dressing better is rewarding agenda.
